I'm on the fence with this but I think RP's are becoming more and more important. Starters are pitching fewer and fewer innings and wins/losses are sometimes meaningless and sometimes valuable.
Proposal.
Relief pitcher wins = 3 points
Relief pitcher losses = -2 points on top of blown saves
(Not tied to these numbers, but offering a proposal.)
We reward Starters for wins/losses and I do believe it may be time to look at RP stats in those categories.
Posting for others to weigh in.

I came here to read this and was hoping to have something to bitch about--but I can't find anything that I don't find interesting about this proposal. Be sure to bring this back up at the end of the season and I will play around with numbers to see what can do with this.

I initially thought weird that RPs can’t get points for wins, but think I like it 2 weeks in. Last night I got 6+ points for a reliever getting 2 outs (thanks to IRS). With reliever wins, we could potentially have relievers getting close to double-digit points and out scoring starters that go 5 innings. Wins in general are fluky, but especially for RP. Not sold as of now. Think IRS is good money, a better indicator, and make up for some of the concern.

If we go with it, I think makes most sense to be same points as a hold, which is 1 I belive.

I get the idea but have a problem with a team getting more than one pitcher W in a matchup since it´s against our idea of mimicking MLB play. Also if RP score more points the balance between Hitting points and Pitching points in our matchups would probably shift to the pitching side with significant implications to daily gameplay, roster construction etc.. So in my opinion if we increase the value of RP we should consider reducing the value of SP in order to keep the overall balance.

I do understand that RP are being utilized more these days but I think the scoring does weight the importance of each position the best the way it currently is.
For RP the importance is placed on IRS which is what you want the most out of a reliever imo. Next is probably the clutch aspect of a hold/save. Wins are entirely based on luck for a reliever so I don’t think it’s worthwhile.
For SP there’s a min inning limit for starters to be eligible for a win which as you pointed out is almost tougher to achieve with the way RP’s are being used these days. I could understand the argument to potentially bump up the win pt total for a SP but I wouldn’t want to add it to an RP for the reasons above.
That’s my 2 cents. Always good to bring up new ideas though. Thanks!
