Cubs have SPs scheduled to start all 3 days for round 1. So if I understand correctly, we have no need to set a rotation for this round since we’re not allowed to move any starts with SPs already scheduled for each day.
SPs scheduled: Friday - Pablo Lopez Saturday - Max Fried, Dakota Hudson Sunday - Tanaka, Lester, Ray
If I’m lucky enough to move onto round 2, it looks like I’ll be SOL for SPs at least the first 2 days of the round!

This confused me at first but I take it you’re just setting your own rotation.

Yeah that’s how I understand it. There’s no benefit to me setting a rotation in advance since I have no opportunity/need to transfer any starts for this round. Better just to leave my options open for the days with multiple SPs already scheduled.
