After a little back and forth the Sox and D-Backs have agreed to the following trade...
White Sox get: Daniel Vogelbach, 1B, Mariners. 2020/1.84M 2021/ARB2 Jhon Torres, RF, Cardinals. 2020/1.16M prospect
D-Backs get: James Karinchak, RP, Indians. 2020/0.2M prospect Bobby Bradley, 1B, Indians. 2020/0.2M prospect Jeremy Pena, SS, Astros. 2020/0.2M prospect
We hate to part with talent such as Vogelbach and his 30+ HR potential, but we have options at 1B so are taking the chance to improve our club elsewhere. Torres leaving also stings a bit as he is a highly regarded prospect. For us getting Karinchak who had a very fine showing last year after being called up, was worth making the deal. He's young and controllable and probably a year away from being the closer in Cleveland. On top of that we like getting Bradley's power. He hasn't made it transfer to the bigs yet in a couple short stints, but he is young and has time. Getting Pena was what put the deal over the top for us. He is probably the best defensive SS in the Astros system and in a couple years that will carry him to the majors...in the meantime he put up a .303 average with 7 HR and 20 swiped bags between A and A+ ball last season.
Thanks to the White Sox for the willingness to negotiate and for the deal. Good luck this coming season!

CWS needed to boost our MLB roster and this gives us a strong young bat that is controllable and gives us good flexibility We hated you part with Karinchak because he will be dominant soon as RP. We also feel like Bradley will eventually break out we didn’t want to give up Pena but it’s what had to be done to get the deal sealed. Good luck diamondbacks
