Although we are a fan of Chapman, this trade made sense. Gardner provides added depth in the outfield, and Romo takes the place of Chapman.

LAA keeps adding to a killer bullpen and picks up two intriguing prospects while freeing up some more room on the 40 man. Besides Chapman, Garcia had a pretty good first half before a bad debut at Coors could go from one of the worst ballparks for a pitcher to one of the best. Grissom is a ways away but has a lot of potential as a overslept draftee this year.
