When it became clear that we would not be competing for the either Tsutsugo or Akiyama with our available IFA we decided to turn some of that $ into a player that we see some promise in. Akins has a long way to go but has shown a strong power/speed combo. The approach will need improvement to bring the avg into a respectable territory.

After laboring for an extended period with the representatives for Michael Brantley, we realized that we needed to walk away from long term financial burden for late career players and focus more on the IFA market to shore up our OF options. We traded a prospect for IFA$ And hope to active with this off season IFA crop.
