After a quick offer and equally quick acceptance the Rays and D-Backs have agree to the following trade...
The Rays get:
Jake Cave, CF/RF, Twins. 20/1M 2021/ARB1
The D-Backs get:
Ehire Adrianza, 1B/3B/SS, Twins. 20/2.03M 21/UFA
Basically this was a deal of 2 players who are backups and it suited both teams. The Rays had good IF depth and no OF depth and we had the opposite. For us, we hate to see Cave go. We like his bat, but in Adrianza we get a decent bat to back up positions we have no depth at in 3B and SS.
