I was so close to winning it all last year that giving up some very good youth to improve my team now seemed like the right thing to do.  I am sure I will regret this in a year or two when Luciano is a top 15 prospect and Lucchesi is putting up big numbers--but makes sense for now.

I accept. I really like Luciano as a prospect, and feel like Lucchesi is a solid SP to get in return and is still cheap. Petit seems to pitch every other day for the A’s so he should be a solid contributor as well. Thanks to the Rockies in getting this one done.
