The Brewers and Marlins have agreed to a trade!
The Brewers receive:
- Chase Anderson, SP, TOR - 20/$2 21/UFA
- Adonis Medina, SP, PHI - $0.2 prospect
- Jorge Guzman, SP, MIA - $0.2 prospect
The Marlins receive:
- Dylan Bundy, SP, LAA - 20/$14.4 ARB2 (DET pays $7.2) 21/ARB3 22/UFA
The Marlins came knocking for an upgrade at SP. We like Bundy and think the change of scenery will do him a world of good but given his salary and contract situation we weren't sure he would be worthy of an extension so it's possible we would have let him walk after this year. At least this way we get a replacement SP in Anderson (although we're not sure how a move to the rugged AL East will go for him) and two decent prospects in Medina and Guzman.
