NYY receives:
5 million in cap relief for 2020 season
SEA receives:
2020(19) Draft Pick 9.23 and 10.23
Owen White, SP, TEX - 0.2m minors

NYY agree to this trade to get 5 million in cap relief for the 2020 season in return our two remaining 2020(19) picks at 9.23, 10.23 and Owen White SP Tex minors. We pretty much got what we wanted out of this draft and could always use cap money, especially with the cap crunch happening over the next couple years. While we hate to give up a young prospect in OWen White we feel we have enough young arms in the system coming up and with him having TJ surgery 05/2019 he is a ways away of getting back on the mound and not sure what capacity that will be in, hopefully for Detroit he is one of the many who come back stronger. Thanks to Detroit for the swift and easy negotiations, nice doing business with you!

Tigers accepts.
Tigers like what white will bring despite being slowed up by TJ surgery for most of last yr.
Tigers has little wiggle space in cap as we dont look to be in much of any bigger FA biddings if any at all based on current situation overall
The 2 picks could bring in a suprise like one of our previous picks in which we received govern
