I have noticed what I believe is an oversight in the rules on options (sending down to minors) for players in team control (TC1, TC2, TC3). Regardless if it is an oversight or not I think it should be changed.
Currently the rule states that, "If you send a player down before their 3rd year of MLB service starts it is unlimited." With this as the rule, it makes it possible to stream TC pitchers and basically circumvent the 6SP rule.
As such I propose the following: 1. Any TC player can be sent down to the minors, without having to clear waivers, 3 times per year until they reach arbitration. This will be kept track of on docs. 2. If a player is sent to minors in real life they can also be sent down to minors on your team without counting as one of 3 options. 3. Once the 3 options (send downs) have been met the player will either have to stay on the roster or clear waivers to be sent down the 4th and more times (he will have to clear waivers every time after 3). 4. If a player is traded the options will reset to 0 for the new team.
By doing this I believe we will not have to worry about owners using this loophole as a way to gain an advantage by streaming pitchers. With this being a money league I think it is very important to get this fixed before we see it during the season and realize that it gives an advantage to a few teams.
Thank you for your time,
Rockies MGMT.

I'm in favor of this rule change. With the ability of streaming pitchers it basically creates a loophole in the 6 SP max rule.

Looos good to me. This would remove the need for the prospect limits on a Fantrax too. Limits could be removed since any TC player could be sent to farm (up to 3 times per season)
