After a bit of negotiations the Rockies & D-Backs have agreed to the following trade...
Rockies get: Dillon Peters, SP, Marlins. 2018/.2M - Prospect Austin Jackson, LF/CF/RF, Giants. 2018/5.5M 2019/5.5M 2020/5.5M
D-Backs get: Colton Welker, 3B, Rockies. 2018/.2M - prospect DJ Wilson, CF, Cubs. 2018/.2M - prospect Jake Cave, LF/CF/RF, Yankees. 2018/.5M - prospect
We hate to see Peters and Jackson go, especially after Peters had such a nice showing in his 1st outing. Jackson was also very solid OF depth for us, but as the organization looks to the future we felt the move served us better than holding onto them.
The addition of Welker was what made us jump at this. It is not often you get a chance at a Top 10 3B, so we had to take it. The additions of Wilson and Cave give us 2 more promising young OF prospects to add to the stable we are building here.
Thank to the Rockies GM for the easy and interesting negotiations. It's appreciated.

Accept--I really hate giving up Welker but I very much needed depth even if it is marginal. I don't expect Jackson to really amount to much but he will get some at bats each week and that will help. Peters I am hoping can be a decent 4/5 SP.
Thanks for the trade DBacks.
