My name is Dominik and I am a 45 years old father of two little maniacs from...Duesseldorf, Germany.
Over here baseball´s popularity ranges somewhere between weight lifting and sled dog racing so you can consider me some kind of freak. I founded my own ballclub in 1990 (we had to build and organize literally everything by ourselves back then - no baseball fields, equipment available etc.), played shortstop in Germany´s second division, have a coaching license as well as an umpire´s license.
I play fantasy baseball for 10 years - right now I am active in a keeper league and a very deep redraft league (which I have won the last two years). Dynasty leagues are new to me, salaries are new to me, points leagues are new to me, Fantrax is new to me and Proboards is new to me. Basically everything here is new to me so I am afraid there might be some stupid questions and even more stupid mistakes in the beginning. But you can be sure to have found a fierce competitor in me.
One thing: Due to the different time zone I might be a little slow to react sometimes. Last year I even managed to oversleep the first rounds of my keeper league draft (I had 3 of the first 5 picks - the autodraft results were depressing).

P.S. I am a Mets fan since 1988 which might give me some trouble with our commissioner. Unfortunately I have never been to a Mets game but at least I have seen the young Lucas Duda play in Hawaiian Winter Baseball.
