Because this is the first year of IFA money and every team has the same amount, we needed a to make an exception for Ohtani on how the bidding will work for him.
There will be a one time exception, for Ohtani only, of the following:
1. You may bid over the amount of IFA you have--but this will effect his salary in his TC1 year as outlined below:
a. IF winning bid is between 0.2M and 5M his TC1 salary will be 0.5M (TC2-1M, TC3 - 2M, ARB1)
b. IF winning bid is between 5.1M and 10.0M his TC1 salary will be 1.5M (TC2 - 3M, TC3 - 6M, ARB1)
c. IF winning bid is 10.1M and 15.0M his TC1 salary will be 2.5M (TC2 - 5M, TC3 - 10M, ARB1)
d. And so on..
2. You cannot trade for IFA money to bid on Ohtani
3. Any amount over 5M for the winning bid will be deducted from future years IFA money.
Place all bids here. Any Ohtani bids placed in a different thread will be invalid and thus will be deleted.
This thread will unlock on Jan 2nd AM.
