Winter meetings are in full swing the stove is overheating (unlike real MLB)
COL trades: David Dahl, LF COL--TC1 Jesus Sanchez, CF TB--Prospect Austin Meadows, CF PIT--Prospect Cal Quantrill, SP SD--Prospect
DET trades:
Mike Trout, CF LAA--33.25, 33.25, 33.25, UFA
I accept--Its Mike F'n Trout! While I really hate giving up what I gave up--3 top 50 prospects and 3rd young OF that will be hitting in Coors and has looked great doing it. But I had to--its Mike F'n Trout.

I didn’t want to move Trout, it wasn’t long ago I felt the same way Colorado feels right now. But, realistically, my roster isn’t equipped to contend right now. I’m still at least another year away, and Trout was an expensive luxury right now. I felt that these pieces, especially Dahl, Meadows, and Quantril fit my timeline better. I’m getting 2/3 of my OF by year’s end, and a pitcher that has moved quickly since being drafted. Sanchez has also moved quickly, and while further away, can easily be a top 25 prospect by season’s end. I didn’t plan to move so quickly on this, but felt this was too good a return to pass up. Thanks to Colorado for making this easy.
