For the D-Backs, our season went down the shitter a while ago...best laid plans and all that...

So, we have been making moves to try to strengthen our future. This is yet another of those. We hate giving up Cruz as we see the potential in his bat, but the acquisition of Evans will make up for that in our opinion. We also made sure we got back an at least serviceable SS in Newman who also has multi position eligibility and should make a very nice depth type piece in the future. We feel as though adding Daniel to the mix was the key to the deal for us, we see him as a solid 4/5 SP going forward...only time will tell how this all shakes out, but we are excited with our return.

We gave a lot in young players, and we hope they do well for the Tigers.
