Jameson Taillon, SP, Cubs 2024/7.75M 2025/11.625M 2026/15.5M 2027/UFA





D-Backs get:

Quinn Priester, SP, Pirates 2024/0.5M 2025/0.75M 2026/1M 2027/ARB1 2028/ARB2 2029/ARB3 2030/UFA





For us this was a no brainer. We have always liked Taillon, he is a quality SP, but to get a 23-year-old who we still think has a long, solid career ahead is the kind of deal we will take every day, especially with us being pretty much out of it and trying to get younger.

Hard to move a young sp but need some now guys even though priester may not be out to long. Also taillon will start tomorrow when I don't have another sp. I need a spark somewhere. Maybe he helps me get started on a little run. My bats better help out to.
