This salary listed is actually incorrect, I had tested the move to make sure the team would still be under the salary cap and forgot that the file automatically changes any moves made. So, his salary for this year was actually $3.3 mil so the penalty is $1.65 mil. You can double check the FA bid if you want to verify (but I already did that). This move has been docced.
