After a little back and forth the D-Backs & Braves have agreed to the following trade...
Braves get: JD Davis, 1B/3B, A's 2024/3.38M 2025/3.38M 2026/3.38M 2027/3.38M 2028/UFA Reese McGuire, C, Red Sox 2024/0.5M 2025/0.5M 2026/0.5M 2027/UFA Dominic Hamel, SP, Mets 2024/02M Prospect Rece Hinds, 3B, Reds 2024/0.25M Prospect Daniel Susac, C, A's 2024/0.25M Prospect Peyton Pallette, SP, White Sox 2024/025M
D-Backs get: Bo Naylor, C, Guardians 2024/0.75M 2025/1M 2026/ARB1 2027/ARB2 2028/ARB3 2029/UFA Colby Thomas, LF, A's 2024/0.2M Prospect Emmanuel Rivera, 3B, Marlins 2024/1M 2025/ARB1 2026/ARB2 2027/ARB3 2028/UFA Eddys Leonard, SS, Tigers 2024/0.2M Prospect
For the D-Backs, this deal was about getting a quality young catcher. We have been basically punting that position for the past several years. We gave up some good talent to get Naylor, who we believe will turn into one of the best at that position...although only time will tell. Rivera will be a depth piece that we hope sees a lot of at bats since we got rid of our primary 3B in this deal. We also like Thomas & Leonard for our future.
Thanks to the Braves for the always interesting negotiations and the deal. Good luck this season!

I will be hoping naylor doesn’t become a stud with this trade haha. I upgrade at 3B until Jung gets back while getting a serviceable catcher back along with a prospect at the position. Hinds was one the big gets here as I like bud power potential for the future. Hopefully the arms pan out as well.
Thanks d backs good luck
