After a quick back and forth the D-Backs & Tigers have agreed to the following trade...


Tigers get:
   Cal Quantrill, SP, Rockies  2024/11.25M  2025/11.25M  2026/11.25M  2027/11.25M  2028/16.875M TO  2029/UFA
   Arizona is covering 50% in '24 and 25% for the years '25-'27


D-Backs get:
   Isiah Kiner-Falefa, 3B/LF/CF, Blue Jays  2024/6.75M  2025/6.75M  2026/UFA
   Maddux Bruns, SP, Dodgers  2024/0.25M  Prospect
   Spencer Schwellenbach, SP, Braves  2024/0.25M  Prospect


For the D-Backs this was about moving on from Quantrill. We think he is a good bounce back candidate for this year but was the piece we felt we could do without to help ourselves elsewhere. Getting Kiner-Falefa helps because of his versatility, and we believe he'll get used much more in Toronto than he ever was in New York. Plus, we add 2 nice prospects to our pitching staff.
