CWS sends Mason Martin and Shane Drohan to KC
KC sends Wade Miley and is covering 50% (4.5M) in 2023
For the White Sox this was about keeping pace in the race instead of throwing in the towel. With Fried and Senzatela going on IL, Lodolo getting scratched from his start and McCullers still working his way back we felt like we needed another solid arm in the stable and hopefully Miley can do that for us. We really like Drohan as he has just started hitting peoples radar and think he will continue to improve now that he is focusing solely on pitching. Mason Martin we also really like due to his solid bat and base stealing ability. Thanks for the good negotiations KC and good luck this season and beyond !!!
