The Brewers and Diamondbacks would like to announce a trade!

The Diamondbacks receive:
The Brewers have been looking for a long-term solution at CF and have had their eyes on Odubel for quite some time. He's having a down year thus far but he's young and has shown tremendous potential the past two years. I expect good things from him in the future. Guyer is a solid depth piece but was important to getting the deal done as he has both LF and RF eligibility giving the team an option at RF when Santana has an off day. Shaffer hasn't shown much in prior call-ups to the majors but he's killing it down in AAA and provides some organizational depth. He should get some time in the bigs later on this year.
It was tough to give up Diaz as he's locked into a long-term, team-friendly contract but moving him allows Turner to claim the team's SS position long-term. Chisenhall has been tremendous this year and has dual position eligibility so he's certainly going to be missed. The long-term upside of Odubel at a position where the team was lacking was too much to pass on. In the short-term this offense will take a small step back but this is a long-term move for the Brewers while still allowing them to be competitive now.
The Brewers thank Diaz and Chisenhall for their contributions to the club and wish them the best of luck on their new team. Best of luck to the Diamondbacks as well.
