The Brewers and Tigers have agreed to a trade. Brewers send to Tigers: - Michael A. Taylor, CF, KC - $2.8 x 3 years
- J.P. Feyereisen, P, TB - $0.75 x 2 years plus 3rd yr TO ($1.13)
- William Woods, SP, ATL - $0.2 prospect
- Tanner Kohlhepp, SP, DET - $0.2 prospect
Tigers send to Brewers:
- Harrison Bader, CF, STL - 22/$2.7 23/$4.05 24/$4.05 25/$4.05 26/$4.05 27/$6.08(TO) 28/UFA
- Tigers to cover 50% in 22 and 25% each year 23-26
We are trying to amass the entire St. Louis lineup apparently. Just kidding. Bader and Taylor are actually very similar players, but Bader is younger and we have a lot of other Cardinals to try to stack for scoring purposes (could would negatively as well). We liked Feyereisen as an RP but since Tampa's been starting him now he's been riding the bench a lot as we cannot utilize him unless we add the SP eligibility, which we weren't wanting to do. Roger should be able to utilize him better than we could as he has room for another SP if he chooses to add it.
Other than that, couple young arms switching teams to add to Roger's farm system.
Thanks to Roger for the deal. Best of luck.
