After a little back and forth the D-Backs and Reds have agreed to the following trade...
Reds get: Seth Brown, LF/RF, A's 2022/4M 2023/4M 2024/4M 2025/4M 2026/UFA Jonathan Villar, 3B/SS, 2022/4.12M 2023/4.12M 2024/6.18TO 2025/UFA Donovan Solano, 2B, Reds 2022/0.5M 2023/UFA **ARZ has posted a 3 year extension @ 0.75M for 2023-2025**
D-Backs get: Mike Yastrzemski, CF/RF, Giants 2022/1.5M 2023/1.5M 2024/1.5M 2025/UFA Johan Camargo, 1B/2B/3B, Phillies 2022/5.25M 2023/7M 2024/UFA
For the D-Backs this was about adding Yaz who we have always liked and will get regular ABs. He hits well and with some power. Camargo is who we hope will be the surprise of this deal. We have always liked him, it's just a matter of whether ATL broke him or not.
Losing Brown, Villar, & Solano hurts some. They are decent bats who generally get a good amount of playing time.
All in all a pretty fair deal both ways that will hopefully help both teams out. Thanks to Shawn for being willing to make this happen.

Reds agree to this deal. I agree that Camargo could be the piece that makes or breaks this deal. Solano immediately asked for an extension when he returned back to us from last season.
Thank you to Donnie and good luck this season!
