The Minnesota Twins trade, our captain:
1B Freddie Freeman (FA); 22: 24m, 23: 30m, 24: UFA
to the Colorado Rockies for:
CF Christian Pache (ATL); 22: 0.5, 23: 0.75, 24: 1.0, 25: Arb 1, 26: Arb 2; 27: Arb 3, 28: UFA SP Asa Lacy (KC) 23: 0.3m (rookie) CF Peter Halpin (CLE) 23: 0.25m (rookie)
This was a hard decision for the Twins to make. Again, we were heavily restricted with cap constraints and needed to make some moves to get back into the black. We decided 2, top 100 prospects coupled with a toolsy player in Halpin was enough to let Freddie go. We remove 54 million off our books and gain a boatload of control on 3 players we think will be very strong once they get regular reps in the bigs.
Thanks Rockies for the trade talks and the deal. Best of luck to our captain.

I accept
I needed a 1B and figured getting one of the best would be a good start. Gave up some promising talent but I think it was worth it.
