This one hurts. Bauer was my favorite player for years and if anyone had told me a week ago that I would trade the Dodgers ace I would have told him to go see a doctor and let his head being checked. I enjoyed his colorful personality, his great vlog, the constant drama and last but not least the regular top performances with guaranteed Ks and Qs. But after reading a detailed report on the accusations that he is facing and the uncertain future that comes with this whole (still developing and truly disturbing) story I decided that it´s time to part ways.

The return for Bauer is a good one though. Jose Berrios is three years younger, on a similar contract and a (rumored) trade to a contender before the deadline could significantly boost his value. He is no Bauer whose skill set was kind of made for our scoring system but he is no slouch either.

I would like to thank the Dodgers GM for the very fair offer right off the bat and hope that this trade works out for LA.

Go big or go home for this one. I read the detailed report as well, but I am relying on the Dodgers ability to work through these things.

Good trade. Get another Ace that hopefully won't start the same day as others. This also helps my cap situation this year and future years.
