The A's were looking to add to a battered rotation and add some depth to aid a playoff push, plus accumulate some A's in the process. We we're actively looking to sell Murphy and Manaea but feel the prospect capital we got in return was sufficient to make us make the move. Luciano looks to be one of the better SS prospects in the game and Lodolo looks like he could end up being an impact arm for Cincy sooner than later.
