After a few minutes of talks the Mets & D-Backs have agreed to the following trade...
Mets get: Dario Agrazal, SP, Pirates. 2019/0.2M Prospect Elieser Hernandez, SP, Marlins. 2019/0.5M 2020/0.75M 2021/1M 2022/ARB1
D-Backs get: Corey Dickerson, LF, Pirates. 2019/6.83M 2020/6.83M 2021/UFA
This made sense for the D-Backs because for the moment our focus is on upgrading our offense for next year. Dickerson does that for us, whether in LF, at DH or as a mix and match depth type piece. We hated to give up 2 young SP who are both just finally getting their opportunity to show what they can do at the Major League level. So far, both have done well for themselves and have a shot the rest of this season to show they belong.
Good luck to both in their new home and welcome to the desert Mr. Dickerson.
Thanks to Dominik and the Mets for once again making the talks fun and interesting!

The New York Mets accept this trade.
Since the trade for Dom Smith some weeks ago I had a surplus of leftfielders with the young Mets player rotting in my Minors. Therefore Dickerson was very available. Getting two young and controllable starting pitchers for him was an offer that I had to take. Of course both have their question marks since their rotation spots are far from secure but even if only one of them can establish himself as as regular MLB SP this would be a successful trade for me.
I would like to thank Arizona´s GM for the easy trade talks and wish Corey all the best with his new organization.
Welcome to panic city, Dario and Elieser, and as always let´s go Mets!
