Minnesota Trades:
Miguel Andrujar, 3B (NYY) - 1 mil 2019, 1 mil 2020, Arb 1 2021, Arb 2 2022, Arb 3 2023 Jeimer Candelario, 3B (DET) - 1 mil 2019, 1 mil 2020, Arb 1 2021, Arb 2 2022, Arb 3 2023
For
Taylor Trammell - 0.2 (prospect) Maximo Castillo - 0.2 (prospect)
The Minnesota Twins accept. While dealing a 3B who already hit 27hr and 90 rbi for potential talent could hurt, there’s risk involved in keeping Miguel with his shoulder injury. We were able to pick up a player we have wanted for awhile in Trammell. This creates a potential outfield of Trammell, Hiura and Kirilloff. It was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up. Castillo also could be sneaky good value provided the Bo Sox and Yanks go bankrupt in the next 5 years and make the AL easy easier to pitch in. Jokes aside, he does have a strong arsenal.
Thanks Diamondbacks for the easy negotiations.

The D-Backs accept this deal. With what Andujar did last year he could be our 3B of the future. The shoulder injury like the one he suffered can be tough to come back from, but we felt it was worth the risk. Candelario gives us depth and we feel he still has the talent to progress far beyond where he is now.
We hated to deal Trammell with the potential he has but you have to give to get. Also the Twins GM is correct, Maximo Castillo is a name that we believe will be heard a lot of in a couple years.
Thanks to the Twins for the easy and fun negotiations.
