Minnesota sends:
David Fletcher, 2B (LAA) (enter his salary here) Jose Siri, CF (CIN) (prospect)
For
Alec Bohm, 3B (PHI) (prospect) Jordyn Adams, LF/CF (LAA)
Oakland and I have been back and forth for a few weeks now over Fletcher and Adams and we could never find the right mix. I decided to let Siri go for the guys I wanted. Siri has great raw stuff but I question his contact ability at the MLB level. Fletcher looks great and I expect him to be a table setter in that lineup for years.
My target has always been Adams in this deal. I really think this kid will be a potential 20/30 candidate when he reaches the majors. He’s exciting to watch and can really fly on the basebaths. Like a Billy Hamilton with pop and a good contact rate- granted he’s young and very raw. Bohm on the other hand saw his stock drastically fall last year but I believe he can be something special. He’s turned it around this year. If Philli becomes serious contenders with Harper I can see Franco being flipped and Bohm at the hot corner. One can only hope with that lineup.
Good deal Oak. You’re a tough negotiator and I’m glad we found something that worked for both of us.

I accept. I’m not super stoked about giving up what I had to bc it did run the prospect cabinets pretty bare but I really needed a 2B and hopefully Fletcher can keep it up
