After a lot of offers and counters the Dodgers and D-Backs have agreed to the following deal...
Dodgers get: Harrison Bader, CF/RF, Cardinals. 2019/1M 2020/1M 2021/ARB1 2022/ARB2 2023/ARB3 2024/UFA Luis Arraez, 2B, Twins. 2019/0.2M Prospect Robinson Ortiz, SP, Dodgers. 2019/0.2M Prospect
D-Backs get: Cedric Mullins, CF, Orioles. 2019/0.5M 2020/0.75M 2021/1M 2022/ARB2 2023/ARB2 2024/ARB3 2025/UFA Nick Neidert, SP, Marlins. 2019/0.2M Prospect
The D-Backs hate to lose Bader, Arraez, and Ortiz. Bader show signs he could be a 20.20 guy and the 2 prospects are both climbing up their team:s top prospect lists. Getting Mullins in return lessens the hurt of losing Bader. Getting Neidert was the key to this deal.He is probably the most advanced SP prospect in the Miami system and could be up as soon as later this year.
Thanks to Justin and the Dodgers for the negotiations that turned out to be prosperous for both teams involved,

Thanks to the D-Backs for another deal... trading within the division may come back to hurt the Dodgers, but the team was in need of another corner outfielder. With Bellinger CF eligible and Senzel likely gaining eligibility there as well, Mullins was expendable. Acquiring Bader on an identical contract as Mullins was an ideal fit, as Bader can slot in at RF when Cutch gains eligibility at LF.
Dealing Neidert was the key to this deal, as without him, D-Backs probably holds Bader. Acquiring Arraez and Ortiz, offsets the loss of Neidert and gives the Dodgers additional trade chips for the next deal.
Thanks to Donnie for working on this deal over the past few days, and best of luck to the D-Backs this season.
