Miami sends Miles Straw .5/1/2/ARB Edwin Uceta .2 Heitor Tokar .2
SF sends Jared Eickhoff 2.08/ARB
We've been searching for another SP at a reasonable cost and we've stumbled across Jared Eickhoff. We dream that he could find his 2015/16 self. We'd like if he could find himself in the opening day rotation. But realistically, we'll settle for 10 starts with anything less than a 5.00 ERA. Giving up Myles Straw in the deal was a reasonable cost with the surplus of young OF on our roster. His speed will find him playing team in the MLB in some capacity. Edwin Uceta is an under the radar reclaimation project for the Dodgers. There were some adjustments to his delivery mid season last year and he showed some improvement during that second half. There's enough upside here for the Giants to come away with some useful pieces. We wish SF all the best in his rebuild and thank you for the negotiations.

Giants agree. Again, when you rebuild you might as well go all in. Uceta is a prospect I like. Hoping that Straw gets a chance outside of Houston. Tokar is a lottery tickets years away but with good size and raw skills.
