Mariners get:
Brandon Lowe - 2B (TB) 1M ‘19 Nick Pivetta - SP (PHI) - 2M ‘19 / ARB Brian Miller - CF (MIA) 0.2M prospect Art Warren - SP/RP (SEA) 0.2M prospect
Twins get:
Alex Kirilloff- RF (MIN) 0.2M prospect Alex Verdugo - RF (LAD) 1M ‘19 / 2M ‘20 / ARB Kolby Allard - SP (ATL) 0.2M prospect Ian Anderson -SP (ATL) 0.2M prospect Mickey Moniak - OF (PHI) 0.2M prospect Drew Lugbauer - C (ATL) 0.3M prospect
Big boy deal. I never planned on moving Pivetta. He’s a 25 year old workhorse pitching for a Phillies squad that should get substantially better this year, but, I’m a sucker for high ceiling prospects and I believe I received boatloads with this deal. Kirilloff being my main target. I believe he has one of the strongest hit tools aside from vlad in the minors. Verdugo should also help my rebuild. The dodgers are linked to a number of arms and are dangling him as bait. He could have a spot in the field as soon as this year. Allard and Moniak are more like projects but I really like Anderson’s floor. All in all for a rebuilding squad, i’m pretty happy with my return. You have to give up to get and I will miss Nick. The other three all showed promise in the minors as well. Tough to lose them but happy with how my minors is shaping up.
Good trade talks Mariners. Glad we found something that worked for both of us.

Pivetta is obviously the main piece here for me but I also valued Brandon Lowe extremely high. I was willing to give up some good young potential stars for players that should produce for me now. I also like what Brian Miller brings to the table and feel hes closer to the majors than some others might think.
Overall I may have paid a lot but pairing Pivetta and Soroka may be enough to push my team into contention.
