The Brewers and Braves would like to announce a trade!

The Braves receive:
The Brewers are in full-blown rebuild mode so trading away several young guys might seem unusual at first but upon further review makes perfect sense. Our pitching is in better shape than our offense (which isn't saying much, but still) so we jumped at the chance to add to our offense when young, cost-controlled MLB talent was available. Bour is waking up offensively and Drury looks to have a big role on the team once he gets his migraine situation under control. He spent some time in Milwaukee last year and we're happy to welcome him back to the team.
It's always difficult to give up players you like, and we especially like Hicks and White. Hicks is already making an impact in the big leagues with his flame-thrower of an arm. Last I heard he had something like the top 8 fastest pitches thrown in the majors this year. White looks to be uber-athletic for a 1B and has a bright future ahead of him. Burrows is a top-100 prospect and one of the top guys in Detroit's farm. Travis already has some time in the bigs and it likely only an injury away. We wish the best to all four of them.
Thanks to the Braves for the negotiations and deal. Best of luck with the rebuild there as well.
The Brewers receive:
- Justin Bour, 1B, MIA - 18/$2.16 19/ARB1 20/ARB2 21/ARB3 22/UFA
- Brandon Drury, 2B/3B, NYY - 18/$2.04 19/ARB1 20/ARB2 21/ARB3 22/UFA (on ATL IR; put on MIL active roster)
The Braves receive:
- Jordan Hicks, RP, STL - 18/TC1 19/TC2 20/TC3 21/ARB1 22/ARB2 23/ARB3 24/UFA
- Beau Burrows, SP, DET - $0.2 prospect
- Evan White, 1B, SEA - $0.3 prospect
- Sam Travis, 1B, BOS - 18/TC2 19/TC3 20/ARB1 21/ARB2 22/ARB3 23/UFA (currently in MIL minors)
