The Mets and Brewers general managers have agreed on a trade.
Mets receive
Justin Yurchak, 3B, CWS - Prospect
Angels receive
Jovani Moran, SP RP, MIN - Prospect
In a desperate effort to improve the overall quality at third base in the Mets organization I asked Jerry if Yurchak is available. After a quick exchange we agreed on swapping Yurchak and Moran. Both are lottery tickets who might or might not make an impact at MLB level one day. Moran´s numbers last year were spectacular and therefore I hope that the Brewers have received a nice piece for the ongoing rebuild.
Best of luck to Jovani with his new ballclub.
Welcome to New York, Justin, and let´s go Mets!

The Brewers agree to this deal.
Both players involved had great seasons last year but remain far away from the Bigs. Whether their development continues is yet to be seen so as of now they are certainly lottery tickets.
I had a few 3B to deal from and from my perspective you can never have too many arms. Way too many TJ's, flexor strains and thoracic outlet syndrome cases to ever think you have enough.
Best of luck to Justin with his new team. Welcome to Milwaukee, Jovani!
