ATL SENDS
E Hosmer 18.38, 18.38, 18.38, 18.38 UFA Z Davies 1.02, 2.04, ARB1, ARB2, ARB3, UFA M Tabor Prospect L Cedrola Prospect
NYM SENDS
K Hendricks 2.7, ARB2, ARB3, UFA R Grichuk 1.56, ARB2, ARB3, UFA S Greene 2.6, ARB2, ARB3, UFA M Harrison Prospect
Hosmer is a great player, but I had some depth at 1B to get some players I like. Being a Marlins fan I have big hopes for Monte Harrison. Grichuk is a player I’m hoping turns it around and puts his power to use in Toronto. Hendricks although isn’t a big upgrade from Davies improves my rotation a little bit. Tabor is a high upside starter that will be missed and cedrola has some speed and pop, but overall good deal. Thanks again Mets for another fun one.

The New York Mets accept this trade.
It was real tough to let go some of my personal favorites with Hendricks, Grichuk, Harrison and even Greene but I had the strong feeling that my lineup was in urgent need of an upgrade.
Hosmer is a top 60 dynaysty league player right in his prime and should provide well above average performances on a regular basis. A true elite bat. Davies comes as a Hendricks replacement - not the same quality but still young so he might have another level in him. Regarding pure stuff Davies and Hendricks are very similar pitchers with Kyle providing a higher floor. Tabor and Cedrola are hopeful prospects who provide solid depth to my MILB system although the loss of Harrison surely was a step back in trying to improve my Minors.
Overall I solidified my lineup without doing too much damage to my starting pitching. A win now move for the upcoming battle in a very strong NL East.
I would like to thank the Braves for the good and entertaining trade talks and wish Kyle, Randal, Shane and Monte all the best as long as they don´t perform well against the Mets.
A warm welcome to New York to Eric, Zach, Matt and Luis and let´s go Mets!
