COL Trades:
Rafael Devers, 3B BOS --0.5, 1, 2, ARB1 ARB2 ARB3
Garrett Richards, SP LAA -- 12.77, UFA
Sixto Sanchez, SP PHI -- Prospect
Josh Naylor, 1B SD -- Prospect
Matt Tabor, SP ARI -- Prospect
ATL Trades:
Nolan Arenado, 3B COL -- 17.8 21.7 26.7 26.7 26.7
Vince Velasquez, SP PHI -- 2.08 ARB1 ARB2 ARB3
As a Rockie fan getting Arenado is quite exciting. He will still be only 27 entering the season and is one of the best players in baseball. To get a player of his caliber is going to require a high price and I was willing to pay that. I am giving up a bit of my future to try and make a run at the championship now. Velasquez will me my new injury riddled pitcher to replace the injury riddled pitcher I traded away.

Always somewhat of a gamble to trade one of the best players in baseball, and to donso, I had to really like the package of players. It’s tough to replace Arenado, but if I had to choose from the litter of 3B, Devers would be at or near the top of the list.
Richards, while it is definitely an IF, I believe he is the frontline starter I’m looking for if healthy.
As for the prospect side, Sanchez is a future ace to me, Naylor is a prospect I like at a position I literally have nothing at in my system and I like the upside of Tabor so I am happy with the overall package after dealing a superstar.
