1. New pool money (5.0M) will be given to each team on July 1st.
2. Only International Free Agents (IFA) that have signed with an MLB team can be bid on.
I. Only players signed to MLB teams during the current signing period are eligible for IFA bidding
II. The bidding for current year players will end on June 20th each year. If an IFA player signed to an MLB team is not bid on by that date he will become and regular FA and will fall under the MiLB FA or MLB FA rules.
III. EXAMPLE: Player XY signs with MLB team on January 14th. In Moneyball Dynasty he will then be eligible to be bid on per IFA rules. IF he is not bid on by the end of OUR regular season, he will no longer fall under IFA rules.
3. You may not borrow into future years
4. Unused pool money may be carried over to the following year up to 2.5 years of pool amount (12.5M max).
5. All bidding will take place on Proboards under the IFA thread
6. Bidding for each player will remain in effect until final bid has stood for 24 hours
Bids must start at 0.20 mil or higher and must increase by a minimum of 0.05 mil.
7. IFA 24 years or younger
I. Will have a salary of 0.2M in your minor leagues
II. Upon promotion to MLB will start at TC1 at 0.5M
8. IFA 25 or older
I. The winning team will assume the real life contract of the player.
9. IFA pool money can be traded only for players without ANY MLB experience (Zero at bats [official and unofficial] and Zero innings pitched) and draft picks.
