To MIN: SP Justin Verlander $14/17 $21/18 $21/19 $22(TO)/20 UFA/21
To ATL: SP Jerad Eickhoff $0.52/17 $1.04/18 $2.08/19 ARB1/20 ARB2/21 ARB3/22 UFA/23 SP Justus Sheffield $0.2 (Prospect) SS Willy Castro $0.2 (Prospect)
Been looking for a SP for a bit now and to be honest, this took very little work because ATL told me what they wanted and I saw it happening. Verlander is still a pretty damn good pitcher in my opinion at 34, the Tigers have just been a pile of shit, so no SP has been "great" for them this year. Has put up over 15 FPG in more than half of his starts and hopefully the whole "2nd half pitcher" garbage stays true here because I can still contend this year

Most of my trades have been geared toward winning this year but lately the phillies have only extended the gap for the division and we have been playing around .500 ball.
Verlander while has the potential to dominate any given outing, has been a disappointment for me since acquiring him, and with MIN approaching me about him, it gave me an opportunity to look toward the future a bit with some younger players while getting a big salary off the books.
Also this is not me giving up on this year as I get a starter (although lesser caliber) back in Eickhoff to take Verlander spot in the rotation. I like Sheffield and Castro more than most might and before this year Eickhoff was considered a potential breakout candidate by some. Here's hoping he can start to show that form or maybe find it next season. Good deal twins and good luck.
