NYY Trades Away to LAA:
Daniel Norris DET SP - 2017 - 1.02/ 2018 - 2.04/ 2019 - ARB1/ 2020 - ARB2/ 2021- ARB3/ 2022 - UFA
Beau Burrows DET SP 2017 - Minors 0.2
Jose De Leon TB SP - 2017 - Minors 0.2
LAA Trades Away to NYY:
David Price BOS SP - 2017 - 30/ 2018 - 30/ 2019 - 31/ 2020 - 32/ 2021- 32/ 2022 - 32/ 2023 - UFA
Yankees make this trade....well really what more do you have to say...if you can add David Price to your rotation in the middle of a playoff push, you do it. Not to mention Price has been trending in the right direction going into the All-Star Break, and we see him having a big second half!! With Price, Lester, and Gio, that's a Pretty Nasty Big 3!! Odorizzi, Godley and Lamet now round out the rotation so our pitching is set for the time being and the future. Yes Price comes at a Big Price..."Pun Intended!!", but with our hitting at a value and producing we can afford it. While it was tough letting 3 Top Pitching Prospects go we feel we needed to add a top arm right now to compete this year for the championship. Norris, Burrows, and De Leon could all 3 very well be a Staff Ace one day, but we are going on a run right now and they wouldn't help us with that. This trade elevates salary from LAA and gives them 3 young arms who....I will say again....can very well be Aces!!!

I agree. Losing price sucks in a money league, but getting these pieces made too much sense for my team and the direction it is heading.
