After a short back and forth the Tigers & D-Backs have agreed to the following deal...


Tigers get:
   Andrew Heaney, SP, Rangers  2024/12M  2025/10M  2026/8M  2027/UFA   ARZ paying 50% of '24 contract and 25% in '24 & '25
   Danny De Andrade, SS, Twins  2024/0.2M  Prospect


D-Backs get:
   Sterlin Thompson, 3B/RF, Rockies  2024/0.25M  Prospect
   Anthony Solometo, SP, Pirates  2024/0.25M  Prospect
   Michael Burrows, SP, Pirates  2024/0.2M  Prospect


Again, for the D-Backs, as our season turns south, we are continuing to look to the future with our deals. Heaney is starting to pitch well, and we hate to give him up, but he commands a decent salary and the savings even with coverage will help us out next season. In return we again received several quality prospects that we like. Solometo & Thompson are very solid and if Burrows comes back strong from his TJ he will be another nice addition.

Looking at this in more of a help now situation.
Deandrade could help later. Preferred not moving Thompson and the pitchers but least I'll have Heaney a couple more years to.
